GIRLS THIRD AND BOYS FOURTH AT VERSAILLES...

Ashley Diltz and Levi vanDeGrift led the girls and boys cross country teams to 3rd and 4th place finishes at the Versailles Invitational.

The Covington Boy's cross country team ran at Versailles. They placed fourth with 85 points, missing third place by one point, and second by five points.

"The boys ran well," said Josh Long. "They are pushing themselves more each meet. Levi and Curtis continue to lead us, pushing eachother throughout the race. Our three, four, and five runners did a great job today all finishing in the top 30."

The Covington Girls cross country team also ran at Versailles. They placed 3rd out of 10 teams.

Senior Ashley Diltz led the way finishing in the top 10.

"Ashley really ran a smart race," said Covington coach Libby Long. "She pushed herself hard in the third mile. Emily ran a good race, she continues to run a consistently. All the girls did an outstanding job today."
