Covington honored three seniors and their parents; Marisa Fields, Sophia Iddings and Olivia Mohler in between the JV and Varsity matches.
Covington seniors Marisa Fields, Sophia Iddings and Olivia Mohler were recognized with their parents prior to the fianl home game of the season.

Covington honored three seniors and their parents; Marisa Fields, Sophia Iddings and Olivia Mohler in between the JV and Varsity matches.

Covington was defeated by CCC Champion Miami East 12-25, 19-25, 12-25.

Covington finished league play in 5th place with an 8-4 record and finished overall regular season play at 10-12.

Covington will play at 3:30 on Saturday October 19th versus the winner of the Emmanuel Christian Academy and Fairlawn match.

COACH CAIN’S COMMENTS:
”We gave them a scare in set 2, but we couldn't hold the lead. The match came down to our missed serves and over 20 hitting errors. That kind of a performance against a quality team will give you a loss every time. We will continue to improve heading into tournament."
