COVINGTON – Covington hosted Lehman Catholic in a TRC contest Tuesday evening and despite numerous opportunities the Lady Buccs came up short in both the Varsity and JV matches.

The Lady Buccs started out strong by winning the first two sets 25-18 and 25-23, but couldn’t finish things off. Lehman won the match by taking the final three sets 20-25, 18-25, 14-16.

Covington drops to 3-5 (3-2) and will host Riverside in another TRC matchup on Thursday evening.

The JV team drop to 6-2 (4-1). The scores were 25-18, 21-25, 20-25.
