KENDIG MEMORIAL - AUGUST 11, 2010
Annually, the Kendig Memorial is a very special event for the Covington golf team as it recognizes Dan Kendig, a former Buccaneer who lost his life in an unfortunate automobile accident in the mid-90's.

So to finish fourth out of 12 teams was extra special for the Buccs as they combined to tally a 336 on the afternoon.

Anna won the event with a 318, Versailles took second with a 321 and Russia finished one stroke ahead of Covington with a 335.

The Buccs, playing without Eric Beckstedt, were led by Christian Carder (78), while Andrew Tobias recorded an 83.

Sam Slusher and the Buccs look forward to bigger things down the stretch run.
