The Lady Buccs opened the CCC schedule against the Lady Patriots of Tri Village on the tough Echo Hills back nine Tuesday afternoon and recorded a 210-283 victory.

Nicole Henson was medalist for the Buccs as she became the fifth golfer to break into the 40"s as she shot a 47. Sarah Westfall was right behind her with a 48.

On Wednesday, the Lady Buccs played Russia at Stillwater Valley and defeated the Lady Raiders, 213-258.

The match was played on the longer and more difficult back nine. Hopefully this will be good preparation for the Buccs as the CCC and sectional tournaments will both be played on the Stillwater course.

The Buccs were led again by Nicole Henson with a 49.

The Buccs are now 1-0 in the CCC and 3-1 overall.

The Lady Buccs traveled to the Arrowhead Golf Course near Minster to take on the highly rated Ft. Loramie Redskins.

The Redskins recently won the Arcanum Invitational and are expected to qualify for state. The Buccs played decent in a 187-211 defeat.

Sarah Westfall was medalist for the fifth time in six matches with a 47.

Jamie Crowell became the second freshman in as many days to break the 50 mark as she recorded a 49.
