SOLID SHOWINGS IN TIGER AND TROJAN INVITES...
The Lady Buccs continue early season improvement in invitationals at Versailles and Arcanum.

VERSAILLES TIGER TEE INVITATIONAL - Aug 17, 2009
On Thursday the Lady Buccs traveled to Webster to compete in the Versailles Tiger Tee Invitational. The Buccs placed tenth of fourteen teams, shooting the same score (434) as they did in their first match.

Several girls showed great improvement over their first match. After two tournaments all the team members have established personal records for 18 hole low scores.

ARCANUM INVITATIONAL - Aug 13, 2009
On Monday, the Lady Buccs competed in the Arcanum Trojan Invitational. They placed fourth of eleven teams.

Sarah Westfall led the Buccs with a 42-54=96.

"Sarah placed fifth of fifty-five golfers and this is a new low score for her," said Covington coach Ron Schultz. "Most of the CCC teams were present so we know what to expect as the league season approaches."

"With two of our top golfers out for the Miami County Fair, two of our freshmen gained some valuable experience for the upcoming season," said Schultz.
