Covington Girl's Results:
Two Covington runners finished in the top 20 at the Bob Schul Invitational at West Milton on Saturday, which pleased Lady Bucc coach Libby Long.
"I am very pleased with the girls results today," she said. "We had two girls finish in the top 20 at a very competitive meet. Our first-time runners did a nice job today."
Freshman Emily Fields and Senior Ashley Diltz had their own battle going to the finish line, with Fields finishing one second better for 19th place. Diltz, a returning standout from a year ago and coming off a record-breaking season on the track this past spring, ran a 21:45 for 20th.

Covington Boy's Results:
Covington head coach Josh Long was pleased with the performance of his young team in the season opener at the Bob Schul Invitational at Milton on Saturday.
"The boy's got off to a great start," said Long. "The returning boy's showed improvement from last year and the newcomers did an outstanding job running their first race. They will all continue to improve thoughout the season."
Sophomore Levi VanDeGrift showed why he has the potential to become a great runner as he led all Covington runners with a 18:26 finish for 28th place.
