The Covington Bucc Boosters exist for one reason...to provide financial support to all althetic programs at Covington High School.
Over the years the Boosters have done just that. Not only has the Boosters assisted in making sure our student athletes are provided the necessary uniforms and equipment, the orgainization has raised money to help build a new weight room and resurface the track at Smith Field.
Some of the fundraisers the Boosters hold annually include the Bucc Bash, the Golf Outing, and the Fund Drive. Spearheaded by Glen Hollopeter, members of the Boosters also hold chicken and/or fish dinners at various times throughout the school year.
The Boosters meet on the last Thursday of each month. The meetings are held at 9:00pm at the End Zone in Covington.

The people of Covington take pride in their school athletic teams and in the facilities provided for our own students and guests. People like you, who care, have built this tradition over the years. Many capital improvements have been made over the years for the benefit of Covington Schools, through the help of the Bucc Boosters. The football stadium audio system has been replaced, and boasts a wireless microphone feature, which greatly enhances its practicality .
During the past year, the athletic dept. incurred a host of expenditures, and your Bucc Booster membership donations helped tremendously, as follows:
Sponsored All-Star athletes for multiple sports - Fed Golfers & Coaches at Dan Kendig Memorial Tournament Football field paint Jr Hi & HS football equipment Indoor batting cage Press box rejuvination Outdoor S-ball batting cage & storage shed (to be added at a future date) - New coaches video system - Football field audio system - Track equipment - Volleyballs - HS Basketball uniforms - Jr High & High School Cheerleading uniforms
Every year our membership drive seems to be more successful than the year before due to the generosity of the parents, fans, alumni, organizations, local businesses, and BUCC BOOSTERS in general. Our sincere THANKS go out to all of YOU!!! This Membership Format (see back of letter) has helped to keep our entire athletic program at the level to which it has grown over the past years, and has helped provide the “little extras” that produce champions.
Keep tradition alive and join us in supporting our BUCCS!!! Meetings are currently being held at the End Zone meeting room, generally on the last Thursday of each month at 9:00 PM. Your donations are certainly welcomed at any time throughout the year; however, they must be received by the deadline stated on the back of this letter (membership format) in order to make the publication of the fall sports program. Please respect this deadline. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Membership Committee
